Ensemble de fortifications décidé par Napoléon Ier pour renforcer le dispositif de défense des côtes méditerranéennes. La réalisation commence en 1810, mais la plupart des fortins furent bâtis entre 1841 et 1861. History

Ensemble of fortifications decided by Napoleon I to strengthen the defence system of the Mediterranean coast. Construction began in 1810, but most of the fortins were built between 1841 and 1861. The Bon Renaud battery is a rectangular building with entrance to the south-west, begun in 1810 and completed in the 1840s.
