Originally qualified as a mas, the château, purchased in 1575, evolved under the impetus of its owners and was transformed into a classical residence in 1783. From then on, construction was commissioned following the architectural criteria in fashion at that period: ordered façade, central avant-corps and grand staircase. The main dwelling nevertheless remained faithful to the southern classical tradition which often preserves ancient elements, here, two old wings with lower floor levels and a suspended spiral staircase serving the storeys. The interiors are currently greatly degraded.
