La création des jardins remonte aux alentours de 1640 (XVIIème siècle) par Henri de Séguiran, Seigneur de Bouc, Premier Président de la Cour des comptes de Provence, Lieutenant Général des Mers du Levant. Autour de 1750, les jardins ont bénéficié d’une importante campagne de restauration menée par Jean-Baptiste d’Albertas, Marquis de Bouc, Premier Président de la Cour des Comptes de Provence. Lui même était l'arrière-arrière petit fils d’Henri de Séguiran. Restauration entre 1947 et 1952.

The creation of the gardens dates back to around 1640 (17th century) by Henri de Séguiran, Lord of Bouc, First President of the Court of Accounts of Provence, Lieutenant General of the Seas of the Levant.
