La construction du château est attribuée à Jean-Baptiste Elie Camus de Pontcarré, seigneur de Viarmes, en 1758, probablement sur un édifice plus ancien. La commune acquiert l'édifice en 1857 pour le transformer en mairie et école. Le parc est vendu par lots en 1847. Le château, en forme de U, est bâti en moellons enduits et en pierres de taille. History
The construction of the castle is attributed to Jean-Baptiste Elie Camus de Pontcarré, lord of Viarmes, in 1758, probably on an older building. The commune acquired the building in 1857 to transform it into a town hall and school. The park was sold in lots in 1847. The castle, U-shaped, is built in rendered rubble stone and ashlar. Inside, two rooms are decorated with Rocaille style woodwork.
