This small timber-framed building, datable to the 16th century, was situated on the edge of a path to the south-east of Montier-en-Der linking the place name 'l'abattoir' to the place name 'la Bouverie'. It was destroyed around 1965-1970 due to its dilapidation and the danger it presented.
