Kuvaus
Hyvin säilyneellä aseman asuinalueella on kaksi vahtitupaa talousrakennuksineen.
Historia
Tampereen–Haapamäen–Seinäjoen välinen päärataosuus valmistui 1883. Hankaveden ja Väliveden kannakselle Ähtäriin perustettiin Etserin pysäkki, jonka ensimmäinen asemarakennus valmistui 1883 ja tuhoutui tulipalossa 1889. Uusi asemarakennus rakennettiin Oulun radan tyyppipiirustusten mukaan. V luokan asemaksi korotetun Etserin nimi muutettiin 1897 Inhaksi. Asemarakennusta laajennettiin 1905.

Description
Inha railway station is a well-preserved station environment from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, in a beautiful natural setting on the shore of Hankavesi lake, opposite the Tuomarniemi Forestry Institute.
The station area contains the station building and goods storehouse, built to a halt type design and extended in 1905, along with the station's residential area. The well-preserved station residential area has two guard houses with their outbuildings.
History
The main line section between Tampere, Haapamäki and Seinäjoki was completed in 1883. A halt named Etseri was established in the isthmus between Hankavesi and Välivesi lakes in Ähtäri. Its first station building was completed in 1883 and was destroyed by fire in 1889. A new station building was built to the Oulu line type drawings. The Etseri station, raised to a class V station, was renamed Inha in 1897. The station building was extended in 1905.
In the first half of the 20th century Inha was a busy traffic point because of the nearby Inha and Vääräkoski factories and the Tuomarniemi Forestry Institute. The importance of the station and the line was increased by Ampumatarvikevarikko 8, established on the shore of Välivesi during the Winter War.
The electrification of the rail network and the completion of the Parkano bypass line in the 1960s reduced the operation of Inha railway station. After the changes made at Ähtäri station in the 1990s, the port of Inha became a loading point for timber.
