Kuvaus
Laurolan Pitkä-Perttilä Kyrönjoen rannalla on poikkeuksellisen pitkä ja näyttävä puolitoistakerroksinen pohjalaistalo, joka kuvastaa edustavalla tavalla eteläpohjalaista rakennusperinnettä. Talon katsotaan olevan Topeliuksen Välskärin kertomusten sankarin Perttilä-Bertenskiöldin kotitila. Napuen taistelutanner Perttilän viereisellä pellolla on Suuren Pohjan sodan ratkaisseen taistelun paikka. Kyrönjoen ylittää Perttilänkosken kohdalla 1909-1910 rakennettu teräksinen riippusilta, joka on tiehallinnon ylläpitämä museosilta.
Pitkä-Perttilän pihapiiriin sijoittuu kahden maatilan talousrakennukset. Maantien suuntaisesti rakennettu päärakennus on peräisin 1800-luvun jälkipuoliskolta. Turpan ja Penttilän talot Laurolan kylässä, Perttilän itäpuolella edustavat korkeatasoista pohjalaista talonpoikaistaloperinnettä.
Perttilän läheisyydessä on Napuan taistelun kenttä. Vuonna 1714 käydyn taistelun 1921 pystytetyn muistomerkin on suunnitellut arkkitehti Matti Visanti.
Perttilän kohdalla Kyröjoen ylittävä teräsrakenteinen, puukantinen riippusilta on vuodelta 1910. Se on tiettävästi maan vanhin käytössä oleva teräsrakenteinen riippusilta. Rautaosat on takonut kyläseppä Hannu ja rakennusmestarina toimi Valte Antila Ilmajoelta.
Perttilänmäki ja Napuen taistelutanner sijaitsevat Kyrönjokilaakson valtakunnallisesti arvokkaalla maisema-alueella, joka on luokiteltu yhdeksi Suomen kansallismaisemista.
Historia
Perttilänmäen alueen asutushistoria alkaa esihistoriallisella kaudella, mistä muistona on Perttilän länsipuolella rautakautinen kalmisto.
Suuren Pohjan sodan aikana 1714 Isossakyrössä taisteltiin ankarasti Kyröjoen molemmin puolin. Ratkaiseva viimeinen taistelu käytiin 19.2.1714 Perttilän ja Turppalan välisellä, edelleen rakentamattoman säilyneellä pellolla. Taistelussa kaatui noin 1500 venäläistä, 3000 suomalaista ja 1000 lähipitäjien miestä.
Arkkitehti Matti Visannin (Björklund) suunnittelema Napuen taistelun muistomerkki pystytettiin Perttilänmäen vastarannalle 1920.

Description
Laurola Pitkä-Perttilä on the bank of the Kyrönjoki is an exceptionally long and impressive one-and-a-half-storey Ostrobothnian house, which represents South Ostrobothnian building tradition in a typical way. The house is considered to be the home farm of Perttilä-Bertenskiöld, the hero of Topelius's Välskärin kertomukset. The Napue battlefield, on the field next to Perttilä, is the site of the battle that decided the Great Northern War. The steel suspension bridge with a wooden deck, built in 1909-1910 across the Kyrönjoki at the Perttilänkoski rapids, is a museum bridge maintained by the Finnish Road Administration.
The yard of Pitkä-Perttilä contains the outbuildings of two farms. The main building, built parallel to the main road, dates from the second half of the 19th century. The Turppa and Penttilä farmhouses in Laurola village, east of Perttilä, represent high-quality Ostrobothnian farmhouse tradition.
Near Perttilä is the Napue battlefield. The memorial to the battle fought in 1714, erected in 1921, was designed by architect Matti Visanti.
At Perttilä, the steel-framed suspension bridge with a wooden deck that crosses the Kyröjoki is from 1910. It is reportedly the oldest steel suspension bridge in use in the country. The ironwork was forged by village blacksmith Hannu, and the building master was Valte Antila of Ilmajoki.
Perttilänmäki and the Napue battlefield are located in the Kyrönjokilaakso landscape area, which is of national value and has been classified as one of the national landscapes of Finland.
History
The settlement history of the Perttilänmäki area begins in prehistoric times, as commemorated by the Iron Age cemetery west of Perttilä.
During the Great Northern War, fierce fighting took place at Isokyrö on both sides of the Kyröjoki in 1714. The decisive final battle was fought on 19.2.1714 on the field between Perttilä and Turppala, a field that has remained unbuilt to this day. About 1500 Russians, 3000 Finns and 1000 men from neighbouring parishes fell in the battle.
The Napue Battle Memorial, designed by architect Matti Visanti (Björklund), was erected on the opposite bank of Perttilänmäki in 1920.
