Hungars Church and Vaucluse
Three miles west is Hungars Church, built by 1742. Two and a half miles west of the church is the Glebe farm, which was church property until 1840. Four and a half miles south of the Glebe is Vaucluse, birthplace of Abel Parker Upshur, Secretary of State, killed in the explosion on the Princeton, 1844.
