Action of March 29, 1865
Just south of the junction here of the Boydton Plank Road and Quaker Road, General Warren, moving northward, came into conflict with Anderson's Corps of Lee's army. After a sharp action, Anderson fell back to the trenches on the White Oak Road, March 29, 1865.
