Cadw's description
Location
Situated some 5.5 km NE of Lampeter, spanning Teifi.
History
Probably C18, road bridge across the Teifi.
Exterior
Rubble stone humped road-bridge of two spans with rounded arches and long abutments each side, both at angle to bridge. N arch slightly higher than S arch. Arches have recessed stone voussoirs, keystones to S arch. Cutwater between on both sides, each with stepped top terminated against shallow raised pier. Raised pier to N of N arch. Plain parapets with cement coping. Abutments each of some 30-35 m, are similar, with some buttressing, but N abutment has two low floodwater arches.
Reason for designation
Listed as a substantial two-arched bridge retaining its character, probably of the C18.
