Situated roughly midway down Monument Hill.
History
Milestone on former turnpike road to Irish ferry at Pembroke Dock. Presumably earlier C19 after the ferry service opened from Hobbs Point to Waterford in the 1820s.
Exterior
Tablet of stone with semi-elliptical head and with the following inscription: "To Hobbs Point 32 miles".
Reason for designation
Included for transport history interest as marking route for the Irish mail coach.
