Location
House set back from the Ludlow road (approximately 3 miles east of Knighton) and forming south side of a courtyard of farm buildings.
History
c1700 with early to mid C19 remodelling.
Exterior
2-storey 4-window coursed rubble front with heightened eaves. Band courses above windows. Later slate roof with shallow pitch and wide eaves, 2 large projecting stone end chimney stacks now with brick stems. Voussoir litels with thin keystones, cross- frame ironwork casement windows. Late Georgian doorcase, plain pilasters with entablature. Recessed door with 6 scribed panels and 3-pane rectangular fanlight, similar detail to reveals. Triple gabled lower extension to rear, brick stack, plain bargeboards, lean-to beyond.
Interior
Interior retains late Georgian staircase with plain handrail.
