Cadw's description

At the roadside (B4355) approximately 1 mile from the centre of Knighton.

Late C18/early C19 small single storey coursed rubble toll house - the only one of five such houses remaining on the edge of Knighton.

Hipped slate roof, pyramidal over splayed entrance bay to centre front, vertically boarded door. Voussoir lintels to entrance and window openings (once timber-frame casements).

Building badly decayed at time of inspection (June 1985).
