Occupying the west end of an island site at top of High Street/Castle Road and Market Street to W and N.
History
Dated 1837.
Exterior
Square 2-storey and basement buildings with 3 rendered fronts and roughcast quoins. Hipped slate roof, wide eaves, 2 brick end stacks. 2 windows to each front with some blocked openings. 12-pane sashes on upper floor to south side with plain reveals. Shop front to north side with plain cornice and pilasters to sides, recessed door, pedimented doorpiece on curved brackets to south side with recessed door. Date plaque high up on west side reads: "ECG 1837".
