History
Sun-dial of 1806 by George Davies of Holywell. The dial itself was replaced in 1987.
Exterior
Circular, slightly tapering monolithic column, ringed to top and bottom, on a circular base. Set on a wide 2-tier circular stone plinth, the tiers with moulded top edges. Fixed to the top of the column is a circular bronze sun-dial, dated 1987, and with the names M Williams, H Davies, D Edwards & G Edwards.
Reason for designation
Listed as a good late-Georgian sun-dial, notwithstanding replacement of dial itself, and for group value with the Church of St Mwrog.
