Cadw's description

Immediately S of the former house.

Early C20 and shown on the 1913 Ordnance Survey. The plate, salvaged from elsewhere, is dated 1760. It originally stood in front of the house but was removed to make way for the town war memorial.

A shaped polygonal pedestal is of reconstituted stone. It carries a small round plate dated 1760 and with the inscription 'Tyme flyes'. The gnomon is missing.
