Cadw's description

In a terrace nearly opposite the W entrance to St Mary's churchyard.

An C18 house remodelled in the C19 and rear additions of the C20.

A 2½-storey single-fronted cottage in a range comprising Nos 4-10 Church Street. Of whitened pebble dash, steep slate roof with shared brick stack to the R. Windows and door are replaced in C19 openings, with entrance on the R. The attic has an added gabled small-pane roof dormer.

The rear has a 2-storey flat-roof projection, and large flat roof dormer, all added.

Not inspected.

Listed, notwithstanding window replacement, for its special architectural interest as an C18 terraced house retaining its overall form with C19 remodelling, forming a strong visual group with Nos 4 and 8-10, and for its contribution to the historical townscape.
