Cadw's description

About 200m west of Pant-y-Goitre crossroads on the road to Nant-y-derry and forming a large square on the west of the main house.

Late C18 or early C19, probably contemporary with the re-modelling of Pant-y-Goitre (qv).

Built of coursed sandstone rubble and red brick. Large square walled garden surrounded by walls about 3m in height. The walls are rubble on the exterior, to the road at least, and red brick internally, flat stone copings.

Included for its special interest as a well-preserved walled garden, the adjunct of a fine C18 country house and for having group value with it.
