History
Milestone probably of c1820, the turnpike road being rerouted in 1819-20.
Exterior
Milestone, painted stone, reading 'TO Brecon 8 miles TO TREEASTLE 4', the mis-spelling original.
Reason for designation
Included for special historic interest as surviving evidence of the turnpike road system.
