Cadw's description

Part of the group on the principal street leading north and east from the town square.

Probably dates from the 1856 reconstruction of the Priory School by Prichard and Seddon.

Random local sandstone rubble wall about 1.25m in height with flat stone coping. Set in the wall is a 2-centred arch doorway with moulded arch and brattished head. It is supported by double crowsteps on either side.

Included for its group value with St. Mary's Community Centre.
