In a narrow street joining Monnow Street and Glendower Street.
History
Probably late C18 house and little altered in appearance.
Exterior
Wholly rendered and painted, probably over rubblestone like the adjacent stable block (qv), natural slate with red brick stack. Double depth plan. Three storeys, two windows to street, 8 over 8 pane sashes to ground floor, 6 over 6 to first floor and 3 over 6 above, all with stone cills. Hipped roof with massive central stack. Left return is blind. Elevation to the yard has a modern small-paned bow window on the ground floor plus a small window to rear, otherwise blind. Rear elevation not seen.

Reason for designation
Included for its special architectural interest as a probably late C18 house of definite character in the Monmouth town centre.
