Cadw's description

On the S side of the minor road approximately opposite Dysyrnant Farm, approximately 6.4km SE of Tywyn.

A late C18 or early C19 milestone shown on the 1889 Ordnance Survey.

A rough-hewn stone with rounded top. The weathered inscription reads '5 miles from Towyn'.(8km)

Listed for its special historical interest as a well-preserved milestone marking what was once the main road between Machynlleth and Tywyn.
