Cadw's description

Situated some 50m NW of Forest Lodge, on minor road to S of A4215, some 3 km from junction with A470.

Detached C19 farm-workers house, part of the very large model farm at Forest Lodge, and situated close to the main barns, whereas the other farm cottages are situated some way beyond the farmhouse.

House, detached, rubble stone with imitation slate roof and rendered end chimneys. One and a half storeys, three-window range. First floor has tall outer eaves-breaking gabled windows, and a small 6-pane window under the eaves in the centre. The ground floor has long outer windows with stone voussoirs and shorter centre door. Altered glazing.
