History
A mid C19 milestone first shown on the 1889 Ordnance Survey.
Exterior
A freestone mile marker with segmental top, painted white. Inscribed in black-painted letters is 'Rhayader 4 miles' and 'Aberystwyth 30 miles'.
Reason for designation
Listed for its special historic interest as one of a series of well-preserved C19 milestones on the A470 between Llangurig and Builth Wells.
