History
A C19 milestone first shown on the 1889 Ordnance Survey.
Exterior
A freestone mile marker with chamfered upper corners, with faded white paint and black-painted letters. It reads 'Rhayader X' and 'Builth 3½'.
Reason for designation
Listed for its special historic interest as one of a series of well-preserved C19 milestones on the A470 between Llangurig and Builth Wells.
