Situated on E side of road some 300m N of Woodlands Cafe.
History
Milestone on turnpike road from Llangurig to Aberystwyth via Devil's Bridge, for which trust was established in 1770. Probably late C18 or early C19 with mid C19 cast-iron plate.

Milestone, with curved top and affixed cast-iron half-round plate reading 'Aberystwyth 12 miles'.
Reason for designation
Included for transport historical interest as marking early turnpike route.
