A mid C19 milestone first shown on the 1889 Ordnance Survey.

A round-headed freestone marker painted white with incised black lettering. It reads 'To Rhayader 8 miles.' and 'Builth. 5'.

Listed for its special historic interest as one of a series of well-preserved C19 milestones on the A470.
