Location
Situated on W side of the A487 some 3 km SW of Blaenplwyf, at the end of the drive to Y Meini.
History
Early C19 milestone typical of those on the Aberystwyth to Aberaeron section of the coast road established by Turnpike Act of 1770.
Exterior
Arched-headed squared stone milestone in whitewashed stone with incised figures painted black. Lettering follows curve of arch, reading 'Aberystwyth'. To centre is large numeral '6' with 'Miles' beneath in lower case.
Reason for designation
Included as one of a good series of milestones of matching style along the A487.
