Location
Situated on the W side of the A487 some 75m S of the Rhydyfelin crossroads.
History
Early C19 milestone, one of a similar series along Aberaeron to Aberystwyth section of the coast road, for which the turnpike act dates from 1770.
Exterior
Arched-headed squared stone milestone in whitewashed stone with incised figures painted black. Lettering follows curve of arch reading 'Aberystwyth'. To centre is large numeral '2' with 'Miles' incised beneath in lower case.
Reason for designation
Included as one of a good series of milestones of matching style along the A487.
