Situated on south side of the road some 50m west of the entrance to Aberllolwyn.
History
Early C19 milestone on Cardigan to Aberystwyth turnpike road established by the Cardigan Turnpike Act of 1770.
Exterior
Arched-headed squared stone milestone in whitewashed stone with incised figures painted black. Lettering follows curve of arch reading 'Aberyswyth'. To centre is large numeral '3' with 'Miles' incised beneath in lower case.
Reason for designation
Included as one of a good series of milestones of matching style along the A487.
