Gate piers and gates to Glanpaith, probably of mid to later C19 date.

C19 formal entrance consisting of piers and gates. Pair of square piers in coursed cut stone with flat coping obscured by vegetation. Decorative wrought and cast iron paired entrance gates. Lower section of dog-bars with wide strengthening arches – upturned above downturned, with a central join with double band of opposed semicircular pattern above and below. Above upper band are finials between the vertical rails and also finials to the rails above the top bar which is ramped up to hanging stiles.

Included as a good formal C19 entrance and for group value with Glanpaith.
