Location
About 1 km south-east of the village of Llanrhaeadr-ym-Mochnant.
Exterior
A milestone carrying a cast-iron plate with the lettering 'Wrexham District / 1894 / DCC / Wrexham 29 / Shrewsbury 25 / Oswestry 13 / Llanrhiadr Y M 1'. The stone is round-headed and about 150 mm thick, with an iron band protecting it. There is an Ordnance Survey benchmark at the foot.

A Denbighshire County Council milestone, one of a surviving set on the B4580 / B4396 road.
