At the east entrance to the village of Llanrhaeadr-ym-Mochnant, at the north side of the B4580, opposite the old school.
Exterior
A milestone carrying a cast-iron plate with the lettering 'Wrexham District / 1894 / DCC / Wrexham 30 / Shrewsbury 26 / Oswestry 14 / Llanrhiadr Y M 0'. The plate has been painted black with the letters and numbers and the edging in white.
Reason for designation
A Denbighshire County Council milestone, one of a surviving set on the B4580 / B4396 road.
