Location
In a rural location, set above and well back from the NE side of the A496 to SSE of Llanfair. The pigsties are opposite the old house at Argoed and sited in the centre of the farmyard at Argoed.
History
Probably early C19 2-unit pigsty range. Partially re-roofed in C20.
Exterior
Two unit pigsty range comprises a single storey range with 2 enclosed pens. Built of random rubble masonry; slate roof with tiled ridge. The pigsties lie within the farmyard at Argoed with the walled yards facing N.
Reason for designation
Included as an integral part of the complete farmstead group at Argoed.
