Cadw's description

Situated on the SE side of Graig Road approximately 150m SW of its junction with Church Road.

One of a pair of houses, earlier to mid C19, probably built for industrial workers.

No 40 has altered windows, 6-pane above, 5-pane below left. Left end wall of rubble stone with left raised corner rebuilt in brick in earlier to mid C20, as also has most of rear wall.

Not available for inspection.

Included as a rare example of well-preserved earlier to mid C19 housing in the region.
