Cadw's description

Part of a continuous development on the S side of the street.

Probably c1800, pre-dating the Mansion House of 1820 which encloses it to the rear. Painted brick to street elevation, slate roof. 3 storeys, 3-window range with central entrance; 6-panelled door with overlight recessed in a flat arched opening and up steps, flanked on each floor by wide 16-pane hornless sash windows with flat arched brick heads; continuous sill band to first floor, and lower 12-pane sashes below eaves in upper storey. Plain eaves band.

A well-detailed early C19 town house which forms part of an important group developed in the early years of the C19 on the S side of Severn Street.
