Cadw's description

Opposite the farmyard of Upper House Farm with gable end to the street and overlooking car park to rear. Formerly part of the farm but sold in early C20.

Probably C17, contemporary with the farm. Tall rubble-walled barn with steep pitched corrugated roof, brick base to N end added to hold the town siren before the Fire Station was built. Entrance is now from yard under lean-to hood, timber framed window to left. Blocked entrance to front gable end.

Interior retains C17 construction with ridge beam and lapped purlins; part floored to N end.

Included for group value.
