History
Early C19 hotel.
Exterior
Three-storey building with early C19 exterior. Stuccoed fronts of five bays to The Watton and irregularly of five bays to Landsdowne Terrace. Slate roof, hipped to R; paired bracket eaves. Bands at second and first floor sill levels. Nine-pane inward opening hopper windows on second floor; on first floor, 12-pane sash windows in reveals with moulded architraves. On ground floor, doorcase to centre with wooden pilasters, architrave, frieze and cornice on consoles; modern door; to each side, one wide 16-pane sash window in opening with moulded architrave.
Return to Lansdowne Terrace firstly of 2 windows on three floors; 4-pane sash windows in architraves (except top floor); to R, doorway with doorcase with pilasters, cornice on consoles; part-glazed panelled door. Then lower 3-window, 3-storey block. Four-pane sash windows in architraves (except for top floor). On ground floor, central doorway as others in building.
Interior
Panelled doors and early C19 staircase.
