Cadw's description

On NW side of road near junction with Newgate Street.

Probably early C19.

Two storey row of cottages, stone rubble, some painted. Slate roofs. Red brick chimney stacks. Nos 1 to 4 (consec) with one outer window bay and inner doorway each. Each with a small Brecon hopper inward opening window on first floor at eaves level. Camber-headed openings to ground floor. Nos 1 and 2 now form one unit with one doorway blocked, and are not painted. On ground floor, No 1 with a fixed 16-pane window to L, and a blocked doorway to R.
Ground floor of No 2 with a ledged door with frame to left hand and Brecon hopper window three panes wide to right hand. Nos 3 and 4 each with a hopper window three panes wide in outer bay; No 3 with ledged door and No 4 with modern door. No 5: to left hand, small hopper window above and larger inward hopper window three panes wide below. Ledged door.
