The entrance is through a central doorway in the E gable which has a small opening set in the apex above. The W gable has a pitching hole to the loft and there is a slate slab set in the gable apex which bears the inscription: MORGAN PRYS / HYDREF : Y : 31 : / 1728 W H / PEN SAUR.
Interior
The 2-bay roof has a pegged and chamfered collared truss.
Reason for designation
Included as an excellent example of an early C18 barn which forms a group with the house and other ancillary buildings at Gerddi Bluog; a good example of a C18/C19 upland farmstead.
