Cadw's description

Entrance elevation faces Glan Rhyd (Conway Terrace).

1896-97 by Grierson and Bellis, architects of Bangor. Illustrated with minor differences of detail in Building News, June 26 1896.

Free Northern Flemish Renaissance style to match school; slate roofs; snecked rubble with pale freestone dressings, smooth bandcourse below first floor windows; on plinth. Large shaped gable to R; vent loop near apex; on first floor, paired sash windows in freestone architrave with pediment. On ground floor, semi-hexagonal bay with shaped parapet; horned sash glazing, six small panes above four larger panes to front, four small panes above four larger panes to sides. To L, square-headed doorway; frame with fluted pilaster on plinths, cornice over. L elevation has two shaped gables each with loop vent; on first floor three windows offset to R, sill band course, on ground floor to R, sash window in moulded architrave. W elevation has single storey extension with monopitch roof. To rear, plain gable with paired sashes to first floor and ground floor; further sash window to ground floor R.

Included as part of good representative group of Junior and Infants' Schools and Master's house.
