Location
Mounted in pier at corner of The Close and lane to Bryn Road.
Exterior
Red-painted cast iron letter box. Rectangular design with architrave and raised surround to door. Crown and monogram 'G R' in Roman Capitals (dating the box to reign of George V). Hood over mouth has raised lettering 'Post Office'. Door with raised surround to field bearing posting times.
Box is of standard Post Office Type 'C' and bears the name of manufacturers 'W T Allen and Co'.
