Location
At the W entrance to the churchyard, at the end of a short lane on the E side of Church Street.
History
A C19 gateway.
Exterior
Gate piers are of coursed rock-faced stone, with wider freestone copings. Outer responds against the rubble-stone boundary wall are similar. Double arched cast iron gates have dog bars with X-shape bracing, spear finials and rosettes below the top rail. Outer pedestrian gates have similar detail but with a flat top rail.
Reason for designation
Listed as a well-preserved and well-designed C19 gateway, and for group value with other listed churchyard items.
