History
Late C18 or early C19 cast-iron mileplate set into milestone on old turnpike road.
Exterior
Cast iron mileplate with curved top, some 45cm wide by 65cm high, set into white painted stone milestone approximately 1m high. Painted cast plate inscribed 'ABERYSTWYTH 3 MILES'.
Reason for designation
Included for transport history interest marking route of an old turnpike road.
