Situated in Lower Brynamman on the SE side of Amman Road some 400m SW of the road bridge over the Afon Aman.

Early C19 milestone on old turnpike road from Llangadoc to Neath.

Milestone, grey limestone with face inscribed 'Neath XII Llangadock ?? (figures eroded)' and with benchmark inscribed beneath.

Included for special transport history interest marking route of an old turnpike road.
