Situated to W of Betws Penpont church, just N of A40.

Landscape feature, probably early C19, an outlet from the pond at higher level to W.

Low outlet in rubble stone retaining wall with rough stone coping. Opening with segmental arched head and stone coping. Retaining wall curves to right.

Included as a structure associated with important early C19 gardens at Penpont.
