Situated on the street line, between Nos 35 and 39.
History
Mid C19 terraced house, apparently not marked on 1844 tithe map.
Exterior
Terraced house, stucco cladding lined as ashlar, with imitation slate close-eaved roof, the eaves and ridge higher than No 35. Ridge line similar to No 39 but eaves slightly lower, crested ridge tiles and shared rendered end stacks. Two-storey, 3-window elevation offset to right, upper floor with 3-4-pane sash windows with peripheral glazing bars and ground floor with similar window to left, centre doorway and large 6-pane sash window with peripheral glazing bars to right. C20 plastic door with plain overlight, slate step up to door. Raised plinth.
Reason for designation
Included as an example of a mid C19 terraced house which retains basic character and for group value with Nos 39 and 41.
