Cadw's description

The carthouse range of farm buildings forms the SE side of the farmyard, which is entered at the S corner, and has a gated opening in a stone wall at the N corner leading to the house and hillside above.

Built probably in the C19 as an improvement to the earlier farmyard.

Built of rubble stonework, with slated roofs. The building consists of a 2-bay carthouse with gable end entrance towards the house, and to which a stone external stair is attached for access to the granary over. A further, narrower building, last used as a stable, is attached at the S end, of 2 bays with a timber boarded front.

Included as a simple C19 farmyard building, an integral part of the farmyard at Ty'n y Cornel, which represents a particularly well-preserved group.
