Location
Part of the group of historic buildings near the parish church of St. Mary's in a street branching off the main commercial centre of Abergavenny.
History
Late medieval, probably late C15. Said to be the base from the Cross Street cross.
Exterior
Large square socket stone in local sandstone with corner broaches. Standing loose on a piece of paving.

Included for its special historic interest as a late medieval cross-base.which is a part of the group of historic buildings around the Church of St. Mary.
