Cadw's description

Immediately S of the junction with Thorney Road.

Erected in the 3rd quarter of the C19 and first shown on the 1880 Ordnance Survey.

A stone milestone with a segmental head. It is engraved:
WESTERN/DISTRICT/NEATH/3/ABERAVON/5
A further line is illegible due to the concrete surround around the stone.

Listed for historical interest as illustrating C19 transport history in the area.
